La siguiente guía muestra cómo instalar el controlador necesario para que funcione la tableta digitalizadora Genius MousePen 8×6 PenTablet en Trisquel GNU/Linux 6.0.
El paquete que se instala es xserver-xorg-input-wizardpen, que no viene incluido en los repositorios de Trisquel, pero que está disponible en un Archivo de Paquetes Personales (PPA)[1] con una licencia libre:

Instalación del controlador
- Vaya a “Menú de Trisquel -> Configuración del sistema -> Orígenes del software”.
- Clic sobre la pestaña “Otro software” y luego en el botón “Añadir…”.
- Introduzca la siguiente línea de APT en el diálogo que se abre:
ppa:doctormo/xorg-wizardpen
Haga clic en el botón “Añadir origen”.
- Debería ver dos líneas nuevas en “Otro software”. Presione el botón “Cerrar” (ver imagen, abajo).
- Vaya a “Menú de Trisquel -> Accesorios -> Terminal”.
- Ejecute la siguiente orden para actualizar las definiciones de paquetes:
$ sudo apt-get update
- Ejecute la siguiente orden para instalar el controlador:
$ sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-wizardpen
- Reinicie el computador.

Uso de la tableta
Simplemente conecte la tableta. Debería funcionar correctamente.
Instale MyPaint para probarla mejor: botones, niveles de presión, etc.:
$ sudo apt-get install mypaint
